Description

Apply to be a substitute teacher in District Five Schools.

 

Applicants must be 21 years of age or above.

 

Some college and teaching experience preferred but not required. 

 

We do have positions available often for certified teachers to do long-term placements.

 

All applicants must undergo screening interview, background checks, must have TB certificate, and must provide 2 PROFESSIONAL references that are NOT family members.

 

All applicants must go through District Five Substitute training and have all required paperwork complete before being called to substitute teach.

 

District Five offers substitute training 2-3 times per year. 

Applicants will be emailed once a class is scheduled.

 

Pay Scale: 

$70/day for Non-Certified Teacher Substitutes

$100/day for Certified Teachers (Must hold a valid SC Teaching Certificate)
